Eagle County 5 Star Status– INFO PROVIDED BY EAGLE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH
We received notice from the State today that 70% of our population 70 and over have been vaccinated. Because of our status in Level Yellow, this qualifies us to allow certified facilities to operate in Level Blue.
However, allowing the implementation of Level Blue operating capacities is up to a county’s discretion. Eagle County must submit a request from the State to make this transition. Because our 7-day incidence rate continues to hover so close to Level Orange, the Board of County Commissioners has decided to wait one week before revisiting an official transition of 5 Star facilities to Level Blue on the Dial.
If you are interested in pursuing the 5 Star certification, we encourage you to apply now so that our inspection team can get your facility certified in advance of Dial Level changes.
