VAIL — The 28th annual Colorado Grand, a unique auto event that begins and ends in Vail each year, returns starting Monday. Participants will begin to arrive this weekend as they prepare to begin their 1,000-mile journey through the High Country. The pre-1960 vintage vehicles will roar out of Vail on Monday morning. Rain or shine, the drivers will make the four-day trip through the mountains, returning to Vail on Friday, crossing the event finish line in Lionshead Village.
