DENVER — The Eagle Valley, through Walking Mountains Science Center, is among 14 communities that received $75,000 grants as part of Great Outdoors Colorado’s Inspire Initiative program.Great Outdoors Colorado named six pilot communities and 14 second-tier grantees for the new $25 million program to get kids off the couch and outdoors. The pilots, selected from more than 30 applications, received up to $100,000 in planning grants to further refine their projects and develop specific plans and programs.
