Vail bridge players head to Berlin

BERLIN, GERMANY — Bill Multack, Sherry Fardie and Jerry Lesnick are Vail residents who frequently play at the Vail Valley Bridge Club, directed by Marcia and Tom McCalden. However, this week, the players will be playing in Berlin, Germany, where they will represent the United States in the Masters Bridge Competition in the 2015 Maccabi Games.The Maccabi Games is a major world athletic event. Originally created in 1932 in Tel Aviv (not yet Israel) as a showcase for Jewish athletes, the competition is held in Israel every four years, and elsewhere in between.
