Second short track race is Wednesday

VAIL — The Vail Recreation District Spring MTB Short Track Race Series will continue Wednesday at the Eagle County Fairgrounds in Eagle. This is the second race in the three-race series, which leads up to the summer’s seven-race Athletic Club at the Westin Mountain Bike Race Series. Race-day activities begin at 4:30 p.m. with day-of registration, which will last until 6:30 p.m. The first race of the event begins at 5:15 p.m. for kids ages 6 to 10 years, followed by a race at 5:30 p.m. for kids ages 11 to 14 years.
