Woman arrested after alleged false report of armed robbery in Gypsum

GYPSUM — A New Castle woman was charged with false reporting after allegedly locking herself in the office of a liquor store and telling police armed men were robbing the store Friday afternoon. Police responded to Hi Way 6 Liquors in Gypsum and found no gunmen.Christina Dickson, 31, was taken into custody and booked into the Eagle County Jail on charges of false reporting to authorities, a Type 3 misdemeanor, and possession of a controlled substance Schedule 5, a Level 1 drug misdemeanor.
