Amtrak detoured around Glenwood because of slide

Amtrak is detoured around Glenwood Springs and six other stops until Wednesday. Union Pacific tracks were closed because of a rock slide about 7 miles west of Kremmling, UP spokesman Mark Davis said. The line was expected to be reopened Monday evening, and Amtrak expected the California Zephyr to be on its normal route out of Chicago on Tuesday, meaning arrivals would be back to normal in Glenwood on Wednesday.
