AVON — Judge Buck Allen swore in three new Town Council representatives on Tuesday; five minutes later, they had to choose between two of their peers for mayor. In addition to re-elected Town Council member Matt Gennett, Allen asked Scott Prince, Sarah Smith Hymes and Megan Burch to stand up, raise their right hands and repeat after him.
