VAIL — The town of Vail’s free tree give-away returns Friday with the annual Trees for Vail event. Residents who show proof of Vail residency or home ownership will be eligible to pick up one free tree to be planted within the town. The give-away will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Town of Vail Community Department parking lot while supplies last. The 80 aspen available trees will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to one tree per household.
