VAIL — A Vail man was found dead Monday morning in a Lionshead condo, according to the Vail Police Department. John Vincent Furtner, 48, was found dead in a Vantage Point condo at 10:47 a.m. on Monday. The Vail Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive male at 508 E. Lionshead Circle in Vail. When police arrived, they found Furtner’s body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, said Kara Bettis, Eagle County coroner.
