Running series continues with Half Marathon

VAIL — The Vail Recreation District’s 2014 La Sportiva Vail Mountain Trail Running Series continues on Sunday with the La Sportiva Vail Half Marathon. Named Most Scenic Race in 2010 by readers of Colorado Runner magazine, the 13-mile run will test local, regional and national runners with a climb from Golden Peak up to the top of Vail Mountain’s summit and finishing at Eagle’s Nest with a climb of more than 3,000 vertical feet.
