GYPSUM — A dozen fire trucks Wednesday morning responded to a fire up Sweetwater to find a structure completely engulfed in flames. The call came in just before 10 a.m. Wednesday and the fire was well under way when fire fighters arrived. The structure, 1195 Sweetwater Road near the Sweetwater Resort, is 1.2 miles into Garfield County up Sweetwater Road. Firefighters responded from the Gypsum Fire Department, Eagle County Regional Airport, the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District, and the Eagle River Fire Protection District.
