Eagle Town Board suspends manager

EAGLE — After a special executive session held Monday morning, the Eagle Town Board has suspended Town Manager Jon Stavney and reportedly launched the process to terminate his employment.A sparsely worded statement issued late Monday afternoon said the town board had “voted unanimously to suspend Jon Stavney from his position as town manager and town treasurer with full pay and benefits.”“As this is a personnel matter, the board and staff are unable to comment any further on the matter,” said Eagle Mayor Pro Tem Anne McKibbin.The town has not provided any reasons for its decision.
