VAIL — If you’ve never been skateboarding and bowling at the same time, then here’s an event for you.The Duchess Ride founders — Carissa Altenau, Carley Finke, Jaime Schulte and Carissa Bisnar — are combining skateboards, snowboards and bowling tonight at Bol in Vail. The goal is to raise money and awareness for their new nonprofit, Duchess Ride.Speaking of raising awareness, beginning Saturday, Oct. 10, they’ll skate from Santa Barbara’s Skaters Point to the United States-Mexico border, around 300 miles.
