ASPEN — A halftime reality check helped bring the Aspen girls lacrosse team back from spring break.Locked in a back-and-forth 6-6 tie with rival Battle Mountain on Wednesday afternoon, the Skiers broke out with six consecutive goals in the second half and an eventual 12-8 win over the visiting Huskies at Aspen School District Stadium.“After the first half, we kind of had a reality check,” Aspen head coach Jessica Owings said. “We really needed to get the draw, have possession.
