Ring found on Vail Mountain remains unclaimed

VAIL — A wedding ring found last week on Vail Mountain is still without its owner. A Vail Resorts lift maintenance worker was walking under Sourdough Lift and spotted it on the ground. Whether it was lost last winter or during winters past is unclear, said Liz Biebl, Vail Mountain communications director. “It likely would have been lost in the winter, because that lift doesn’t run during the summer,” Biebl said.
