Freedom Park parking lot set to be closed through October

EDWARDS — The parking lot at Freedom Park in Edwards will be closed for maintenance and construction improvements until early October. So if you’re headed to WECMRD’s Edwards Field House or the playing fields, just think of the stroll across the street as part of your warmup. For the next few months, you’ll be parking across the street at Battle Mountain High School. You can still use the playground, skate park, field house, playing fields and other facilities, said Eva Wilson, Eagle County’s engineer.
