AVON — As part of Every Town for Gun Safety, formed by former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, Moms Demand Action for Gun Safety in America was created to advocate for stronger gun laws and policies.The group was formed after the Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting and is mobilizing mothers across the country to come together with a common goal of reducing gun violence.Moms Demand Action will be meeting Thursday, July 28, at the Avon Public Library.
