AVON — Centura Health celebrated the opening of their Avon Emergency & Urgent Care center Thursday. The 12-room facility will host 24-hour per day emergency services from the bottom floor of the recently opened Buck Creek Medical Plaza on Buck Creek Road.Centura, a non-profit, faith-based organization, invited Father Tema Nnamezie to the celebration to give the building a rite of blessing and a sprinkling of Holy Water.“We thank God for this beautiful facility, for guiding the workers who constructed and built this place of healing,” Nnamezie said.CENTURA SYSTEMThe emergency and urgent care center will use the Centura system and protocols …
