Bus routes alter for underpass work

VAIL — Beginning Tuesday, Vail Transit routes serving West Vail will be modified this summer and fall to accommodate construction of the Interstate 70 Vail underpass project as the major work shifts to the north and south frontage roads. This work will create one-way traffic through the project site. The routes for pedestrians and bicyclists will also be impacted.Due to the construction, the West Vail green line will be suspended and the West Vail red line will increase frequency to every 20 minutes from the Vail Transit Center west on the North Frontage Road to the South Frontage Road.
