EDWARDS — Jennifer Wing was doing what all educators know is an integral part of their profession when a gymnasium full of people heard she received Colorado Mountain College’s collegewide full-time Faculty of the Year award — and she was not present.Wing, a professor of English, composition and literature at the college’s Edwards campus, missed hearing her name May 12 when CMC president and CEO Dr. Carrie Besnette Hauser announced Wing had won the award.
