FRUITA — Battle Mountain girls lacrosse kept its drive alive for a playoff spot on Tuesday with a 16-15 win at Fruita Monument.The Huskies are 11-1 after Tuesday’s win, which they led all the way.Katie Kessenich, Maggie Berger, Marti Schmidt, Natalie Berger, Haley Frischholz and Lindsay Sierant were all in on the scoring. Meanwhile goalie Siena Miller got a serious workout with 23 saves, most of them coming in the second half.The bigger question for Battle Mountain is whether it can make the postseason.
