Eagle-Vail election turns personal

EAGLE-VAIL — The race for three seats on the Eagle-Vail Metropolitan District Board of Directors has become personal.Several candidates for metro district seats came to the April 21 meeting to complain about an email they attributed to outgoing board president Louise Funk. That email, which runs to three pages of printed text, expressed Funk’s opinions of most of the candidates in the current board election, many of whom she associated with EagleVail United.
