EAGLE — Local Charlie Sue Pates, 15, is headed to Kentucky, where horse reining will take center stage at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association National Finals.Reining, known for its thrilling descents down the arena to graceful sliding stops, is among the fastest growing and most popular Western equine sports around the world.
