Gladys Cecelia Hamilton, 95, formerly of Fisher, Minnesota, and Sun City, Arizona, died on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015. Gladys was a beloved visitor in Vail, where she recited her poetry, gave a pie crust-making class, and even did some cross-country skiing. She was a poet, artist, sculptor, and a writer of fairy tales, short stories and two books of poems. She taught herself to sew, knit, upholster, use the computer and had her own website, gladysandfriends.com. Her website is still up and contains much of her poetry, comments on life and her travels, and advice on a variety of topics. …
