Copper Mountain Delays Opening Day to Friday, Nov. 13 COPPER MOUNTAIN —Copper Mountain has decided to delay Opening Day for the 2015-16 winter season from Friday, Nov. 6 to Friday, Nov. 13. Unseasonably warm temperatures have limited snowmaking production, hindering their ability to make snow. With a forecast of colder temperatures in the foreseeable future, officials are confident the snowmaking team can create a top-notch surface for opening on Friday, Nov. 13.
