Nate Goldberg, director of the Beaver Creek Hiking Center, has some great advice for anyone who wants to tread their boots on the mountain trails this summer: “Pack like a pessimist, and hike like an optimist.” As most know, or learn very quickly, Colorado weather can change dramatically at any time of the day.
