EAGLE COUNTY — At about 5 p.m., Eagle County Regional Airport Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting was dispatched to a small fire at the airport. Preliminary investigations indicate the small fire started in one of the rooftop air handling units on the airport’s new Snow Removal Equipment building.The fire was quickly contained and damage to the building is minor, affecting only the unoccupied offices on the first floor. The snow removal equipment building is still under construction and not yet occupied.
