Robert Chambers Gardner was born on Oct. 21, 1957, and passed away on Nov. 26, 2014, after a battle with cancer. He was 57 and resided in both Avon, Colorado and was a resident of Darien, Connecticut since 1996. Bob is survived by: his beloved wife Elizabeth Carder Gardner; his parents Mary Shoup Gardner and Glenn Gibson Gardner of Old Snowmass, Colorado; his brother Peter Stacey Gardner of Aurora, Colorado; and his sister Elizabeth Paulin Gardner of Evergreen, Colorado Bob was a fourth generation Colorado native. His great-grandfather, Oliver Henry Shoup was governor of the state from 1919 to 1923. …
