AVON — John Minervini and his wife, Virginia, have been living and voting in town for the past eight years. They have been married 31 years and their three children are now grown and living away from home. An experienced business executive, Minervini teaches part-time as a business instructor at Colorado Mountain College, and he says attracting new businesses and creating more public-private partnerships will improve the town’s economy. “Partnering with some of our town’s businesses will certainly increase our revenues,” he said.
