GYPSUM — The Vail Christian Saints’ defense showed Nederland why it’s called the Blue Crush. When it was over, the Saints marched to a 48-12 win over the Nederland Panthers and a 3-0 record. Nederland didn’t pick up a first down until the first minute of the second half, which was followed immediately by two Saints sacks and an interception by Clayton Davis. After the two teams swapped licks for the first few minutes, Vail Christian’s Mike Lange’s 50-yard punt return put the Saints on the board.
