MINTURN — Nothing about the Eagle Mine is simple — from who’s responsible for the property to the miles of plumbing associated with the cleanup. Changes to the cleanup are complicated, too, but those responsible for the process are starting to work to alter the way contaminated water from the mine is kept out of the Eagle River. The mine was the subject of a recent meeting hosted by the Eagle River Watershed Council.
