EAGLE-VAIL — The Eagle-Vail Golf Club announced that it has opened the Willow Creek Par 3 Course to introduce the newest sport to hit the Vail Valley, footgolf, a combination of soccer and golf. Eagle-Vail is only the fifth golf course to introduce the sport in Colorado. According to the American Footgolf League, the combination soccer and golf sport called footgolf is played with a regulation No. 5 soccer ball on shortened holes, such as a Par 3 course, with 21-inch diameter cups.
