RIFLE — Battle Mountain soccer was not a happy crew and the Huskies had nine days to think about it.So nine days after a 2-1 overtime loss at Eagle Valley, Battle Mountain took out its frustrations on Rifle with an 8-1 win on Thursday on the road.“We had time to stew on the loss and two weeks (sic) to prepare and make themselves better and ready to play,” Huskies coach Ali Bender said.
