VAIL — Tickets are now on sale for the kickoff event of the 2016 Gourmet on Gore culinary festival in Vail. On Friday, Sept. 2, the Gourmet on Gore Tasting Tour takes Vail’s culinary treasures out into town, from galleries to boutiques to the streets, for a progressive, paired dining experience, all benefitting Vail Veterans Program. Participants pick up credentials at the first location, a pop-up lounge at Checkpoint Charlie in Vail Village that features hors d’oeuvres from Big Bear Bistro and Tahoe Kitchen Co. paired with La Marca Prosecco.
