Davos Dash tradition carried on in West Vail

VAIL — The Davos Dash isn’t just a race, it’s a tradition.The 33rd installment of that tradition got underway on Wednesday after a thunderstorm on June 22 delayed it by a week.That delay didn’t just mean more time to prepare for the difficult 3.5-mile climb, it also meant that the race would be held on Vi Brown’s birthday.
