Theft in Eagle leads to chase in stolen vehicle

EAGLE — A Michigan man drove a truck allegedly stolen in Lakewood to Eagle, where he was arrested after trying to steal things from vehicles in a bank parking lot.Brandon Hill, 22, of Jenison, Michigan, did not rob the Alpine Bank in Eagle, but he did try to steal items from vehicles in the bank parking lot.A few residents saw what he was doing and called the police at 10:45 a.m. Hill jumped into the black pickup truck and sped west on Interstate 70.Because witnesses had provided officers with a good description of the truck and a license plate number, …
