Avon appoints Greg Daly as interim chief of police

AVON — Town Manager Virginia Egger has announced that Deputy Police Chief Greg Daly has been appointed as Avon’s interim chief of police. He will commence his duties on May 21, when current Avon Police Chief Robert Ticer joins the Loveland Police Department, as its new police chief. Daly has over 20 years in law enforcement experience, first with the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office, and then joining Avon in 2008 as a lieutenant.
