Eagle voters pick candidates with experience on Tuesday

EAGLE — Eagle voters took a stand for stability and maturity in Tuesday’s election.In fact, Mikel “Pappy” Kerst won a town board seat on his birthday Tuesday.Incumbent Kevin Brubeck was the top vote-getter, and Town Board member Anne McKibbin is the new mayor, after serving one term on the Town Board and eight years on the planning and zoning board before that.McKibbin’s transition to mayor should be seamless.
