VAIL — The Colorado Department of Transportation and town of Vail will host a Monday open house to discuss upcoming work schedules, traffic impacts and detours regarding the Interstate 70 Vail underpass project. The open house will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the ground floor of the Lionshead parking structure on the southwest side.Preliminary construction work on the underpass will take place in late March to prepare for a traffic shift and the start of major construction activities in early April.
