Battle Mountain boys fall to Demons in overtime

PALISADE —Glenwood Springs’ Cameron Horning is graduating this spring.Honest.Really.For sure.Unfortunately, the Demons senior hung around long enough to sink Battle Mountain boys basketball, 43-38, in overtime on Thursday, eliminating the Huskies from the district tournament in Palisade and state-tournament contention.“That’s good,” Huskies coach Phil Tronsrue said of Horning’s departure. “I’m happy.”Horning is perfectly wonderful student athlete. It’s nothing personal.
