Eagle celebrates Christmas on Broadway, adds new Wassailfest

EAGLE — The town of Eagle will usher in the Christmas season with its traditional Christmas on Broadway celebration Saturday, Dec. 5. The event will begin with Santa’s Workshop from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m., followed by the parade down Broadway at 5:30 p.m. The festivities end at the town park with a bonfire and live music.“To keep the event fresh, we like to add a new twist each year, and this year, we’ve added the Wassailfest and the Peppermint Station,” said Michelle Friedman, with AlwaysMountainTime Media, chairperson of the 2015 event.Wassail is an Old English word meaning “be you healthy.” …
