VMS-Kent Denver snowed out, moved to Thursday at noon

DENVER — Apparently, soccer and snow do not mix in Denver.Wednesday’s storm, which blew though the High Country, also hit Denver and postponed the 3A and 5A state soccer playoffs to Thursday.Of local import, the Vail Mountain School plays Kent Denver today at noon at All-City Stadium in Denver.“We’ve moved those games because their fields are unplayable,” said CHSAA assistant commissioner Bud Ozzello, who oversees boys soccer, on cshaanow.org. “We have to keep the safety of the players at the forefront.”This, of course, may come as a surprise to the VMS community, which spent most of Friday clearing storied Bandoni …
