EDWARDS — On Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Edwards, the Freedom Park Memorial Committee and VFW Post 10721 will be conducting its 9th annual ceremony in honor of all veterans of the armed forces who have served the country, those from Eagle County who sacrificed their lives for freedom, and those currently on active duty.The keynote speaker will be: Major Michael Halas of the Colorado National Guard, Commander B Company, 5th Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group.
