GRAND JUNCTION — With apologies to Three Dog Night, three is the loneliest number in tennis.Vail Mountain School tennis wrapped a successful season with a third-place finish at the Region 8 tournament.And this, unfortunately, is the theme — only two teams qualify for state, so this was a bit of a heart breaker.
