Huskies XC shows its teeth at Sabercat Invite

SEDALIA — Over the logs and around the tractors to grandmother’s house we go.That was Battle Mountain cross-country’s task on Saturday at the first appearance at the Sabercat Invitational, hosted by 5A Castle View, in Sedalia.The Huskies negotiated those obstacles well, as the ladies took second in the predominantly 5A meet, while the gents were fifth.The Huskies Alex Raichart took a nasty tumble during the start of the girls’ race.
