AVON — Ruggs Benedict is helping put heroes in homes.The local company is hosting a fundraising kick off event for the Building for America’s Bravest.The event will feature a 9/11 first responder from the Fire Department of New York, and a piece of 9/11 steel from Ground Zero on display in the Ruggs Benedict showroom.It’s all part of Building for America’s Bravest.
