TABERNASH — Authorities were responding to a report of a burglary at Snooty Coyote Liquors when Grand County Sheriff Brett Schroetlin, three sheriff’s deputies and a Fraser-Winter Park officer responded and ended up shooting the suspect.The officers, including Schroetlin, shot the man because he was brandishing a knife “as he advanced,” according a prepared statement released by the 14 Judicial District Attorney’s Office.The DA’s office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are looking into the shooting.The suspect’s identity has not been released.None of the officers were harmed. The suspect was flown from the scene by an air ambulance.Schroetlin placed himself …
