Vail council to review outdoor lighting

VAIL — The Vail Town Council at its Sept. 15 meeting will review the first reading of an ordinance that would establish time periods for use of decorative outdoor lights. The item is listed fifth on the agenda, and the meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambers. There will be opportunities for public comment.Ordinance was drafted at the council’s request to add definitions and time periods to Vail’s outdoor lighting regulations to address a growing number of light pollution complaints in residential neighborhoods.
