EAST VAIL — It is the third game of the season, so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. But then again, it is kind of a big deal.Vail Mountain School boys soccer won its home opener on Friday afternoon over Denver Christian, 3-1, at venerable Bandoni Alumni Field.“It’s a nonconference game against a quality opponent,” Gore Rangers coach Pete Petrovski said. “We hope to compete with all the teams we face around the state.
